Thanks Burdie! and yes, this thread certainly brightens a day real fast, doesn't it! I had to laugh at RR's post because when I see posts from certain people as the last post I typically make certain to swallow my diet rockstar before opening them......such much easier on the keyboard! Luckily BB is one of those that I expect to surprise me often so my keyboard was safe! lol That one was just something else though! Still laughing! I might have to print that one up to hang by the computer....will brighten the day for sure! lol

I was told by my Financial Manager (wife) if I let her have a free weekend before that date, I will be allowed to come. So put me on the list. T-bucket is also wanting to come. Can't wait.

And left for church ~ then we went to see Jeffs mom had 4 generations for the day wonderful day!

Sounds like you had a pretty nice day! I am glad to hear that. I spent my first mother's day alone....was very strange. The kids called and I enjoyed talking with them and had a very relaxing day. Teresa might come over tomorrow as she was not able to get here today to see me. I get double spoiled....my daughter insists on bringing me gifts on father's day as well since I was a single parent. God sure blessed me with extra special kids!

I am very blessed indeed. I know both of my children would have been here had they been able to be here and that means a great deal to me. Strange and hard to actually comprehend that they are grown now and have lives seperate from mine and are parents or in the process of becoming parents themselves. Sheeesh I am feeling old suddenly! lol

lol it sure wasn't MY idea....Teresa just came to me a few years back and said we are going shopping, what do you want for Father's day....I said uhhhhhmmm I am your mother ya goof! lol She says oh give me a break mom, you were always my mother AND my father , now what do you want for Father's day? I told her I wanted a big old hug....that didn't do it...she drug me to town and bought me a bunch of houseplants and smelly candles and a beautiful mosaic vase thing to put my candle in. Now she is 19...a grown up! Wowzers I could not ask for better kids, I tell ya!

Before Jeff and I met Tammy took me out to eat for Fathers Day! Just cause I did Dad stuff too! Took her fishin and stuff!
Well I drove and she bought Micky D's with her allowance and tooth fairy money! She was 6!

awww that is too sweet! Teresa and I were always out camping and fishing and I always took the kids hunting with me too back when I used to go. I am sure they missed out by not having a dad in their home but not in the respect they didn't get to get out and do what most folks term guy stuff lol

Tammy and Teresa would probably get along grandly as they seem a lot alike. We are both pretty blessed obviously!
