Hey, BEF, I don't know if you caught any of this drenching rain that hit us up here in Virginia/DC/Maryland. But, late last night it finally stopped raining. Here in Manassas, VA we had 6 inches. We have sinkholes all over the area, and some Maryland cities outside of DC are flooded. I have a 5 ft crawlspace under my house, and I have about a foot of water to pump out.

Thought there for awhile that we would be needing an ark instead of a car...LOL

Oh....for your info I had a very good interview today.....I also told them my calendar is branded for CTH so don't even go there! Told her you guys said I was GONNA be at CTH.....she cracked up...said with that much notice you were right....I am GONNA be there!

Didn't get a drop, high fire hazards and we have fires starting everywhere again. Hope it isn't like a few years ago. when most of the state was on fire. I almost lost the farm but was spared when suddenly the wind changed when it was a few thousand yards away. Thanks be to God for that

Thanks be to God for that and that Mel did not float away too! Glad you are both safe! We get some pretty crazy fire seasons around here at times too so I know where you are coming from Bobby....will be praying things are wet down a bit soon in your area and you get through the fire season without close calls this year!

Yeah,she's teaching.She knows when I pick my hat up she heads for the door.Of course she also knows when she goes out and does her business,she gets a treat when we come back in.But like all girls,she thinks she should get that treat whether she does anything out there or not,so we are still working on that.She wants to go out every 10 min.

This is the site we are going to hunt. We have additional expenses in cleaning it up for the hunt. This lady that owns this place lost her husband a year ago and can not afford to clean it up. So I am trying to get help. I will try to get it done as cheap as I can but I may have to raffle some prizes off and also ask for monitary donations later. If it wasn't prime detecting realistate I would not bother. We are going to have two groups of prizes. One group is raffled items. The donated items that will be given out by free tickets. Please let me know if you want the item in the donated category or raffled group. Thanks here is the pictures.

Your the huntmaster for this hunt so I respect your decisions on it. I myself also don't mind donating a few of the hunt hours to assist her in us cleaning up her place as a thank you. If we pile it up there should be someone there that would gladly that the scrap for free to sell to salvage.

Tell one of those highschool classes a donation of $100 for their project will be donated if they cleanup a widow lady's place one wknd.Get 'em a couple cases of pop.And see if thier teacher will give them extra credit for it.
