Well after consulting with my attorney, he is fairly certain (I said fairly) that going to the CTH II does NOT constitute spousal abandonment nor grounds for a divorce even if it is the weekend of a 12th wedding anniversary..........

She came home from getting her ultrasound, which she sent to me, advised hubby that he was going to be a Papa, and they enjoyed the irony of it, laughing and began their planning.

But she's due around the hunt time, so my attentions will probably be in Phoenix and not in Kansas, sorry to say. But we'll hold all options open!! -Noodle

I can't believe you guys are so whipped. I don't ask if I can go, I tell her I'm going! Last time she decided to go to. Haven't seen her since! She went the opposite direction. I think she is with that rotten, little sniveling, no good dog that dug up my coin patch and ran away. I haven't seen him since either! (I sure miss that dog). Actually , I'm lying! I do exactly what my wife says and do it her way! That's a lie too. Actually, Kay doesn't mind me going "prospecting" as long as I stay in touch. With all the health problems I have had lately she says she worries about me. She is my second wife and a keeper for sure. It's been that way for 37 years and I hope we see at least 37 more. Hope you all are as lucky as I have been.See everyone in Kansas for sure! Monty

To ME/MONTY/and all other males out there:

A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife, looking at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was
not far off he asked what she'd like to have for her birthday.

'I'd like to be six again', she replied, still looking in the mirror.

On the morning of her birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags
theme park. What a day!

He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, everything
there was. Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down.

He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake.

Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled
home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted. He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, 'Well Dear,
what was it like being six again??'

Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed. 'I meant my dress size, you dumb a$$!'
The moral of the story: Even when a man is listening, he's gonna get it wrong.

Mel I received papers today, or should I say I was served papers today that tell me in no uncertain terms that if the hunt happens to be on the weekend of October 12th and I opt to go my life will be forfeit.

Seems there is some other event that took place on that same date 12 years ago...........

Burdie/Stoney, have been in contact with Aussie Okie (in Enid), and he thinks he might try to join you the hunt, too. Lordy, I hope he can stand everybody! LOL
