Not a bad day today for us. We went to a local church holiday fair this morning and my wife picked up four pair of 14k gold earrings all for $8.00!! One pair has fresh water seed pearls. I picked up some sterling items all for $5.00. We then headed to a little local antique shop that was having a big sale and I picked up an English sterling spoon Circe 1822, and a nice late 1890's - early 1900's Gorham sterling sugar tongs. Both got $18.00 total. Both spoons total 1.65 ozt. Sterling from church sale was 0.40 ozt. Gold was 3.7 grams (not including the ones with the pearls. Not a bad days hunting!! Good haul for your efforts....do you keep the finds or flip them for a profit?

Both! I'll keep the English spoon. Probably flip the tongs and definitely flip the other sterling. I believe my wife will keep the gold earrings except for the small dolphins. She likes when she can find nice gold for pennies on the dollar! She'll figure that out and then tell me what she wants to part with.
