Christmas Wk End Finds from Florida

[cambria09]

Hello All. Hunted 3 sites for these finds: an old city park, a vintage curb strip, and an 1880's home site and dug some nice variety:

Lots of misc hardware
Keys
Vintage shot shells
Brass incense burner
Vintage sprinkler head
Whatzit tag
NCV tokens
Sterling handle to something
Misc jewelry
Wheaties
Silver Merc and Rosie
Really great victorian era button

The victorian button is very cool but has no back mark...any ideas on this one?

Thanks for the view and HH in the New Year to all.

In the second photo, at the left, the long flat 3-holes brass object is a Coil-Contact from a 1912-ish Model-T Ford's ignition.

Really great finds! I know you had a lot of better things, but, one can't help but admire those brass hose nozzles! I have found about 5 of those now and after you get the dirt out of them and put a new washer in the threaded connector, they are as good as new! It is one of the few things that can remain in the ground for centuries and keep on keeping on!!!

Those are some nice finds! Silver coins are great! I like the fiddle pin (?).
Hope your going back there!

Hi CBG. Thanks for the reply and nice ID. I find these things fairly often sometimes with the "Ford" script on them, sometimes with what must be an aftermarket Chicago company's name, and sometimes with no markings. This one has no markings. The ones I find are most often incomplete with the two base tabs broken off.
