Chunky beef Stew with Basmati Rice

[Chilli]

My turn tonight.
Title says it all. Made us a chunky beef and vegetable stew with long grain Basmati rice.
Happy wife, happy lif
Onions, garlic, tumeric, parsely, oregano, basil, mild curry, chili, and Worcestershire sauce.
Thickened with wholemeal plain flour. 👍

Yep. Cooling down here now. Getting mid to just below 20c now. Thank goodness. I like it warm but not a fan of the heat we get in summer.
Last few days, no air con. Not expecting it to be turned on again till next summer, happy about that. Can happen but if it does it will be a day or two.
Right now our best time of year. 🙂
Fishing tomorrow, we gotta travel a bit as we still have blue green algae in our area. But, looked up and not where we are going.
Still, taking the detector just in case.
Id prefer to fish for Trout there though than detecting. Not much to find there.

Basmati rice is really good rice, we mix it with wild rice and brown rice in our rice cooker.
