I believe the 5.75 coil is more useful in target separation than depth. I've got that coil for the uMax DeLeon and don't get much over 5-6". I don't have the 8" concentric for the Cibola but just acquired the 12"X10" DD Widescan which I haven't yet had a chance to try out. I'm hoping it gives a bit better depth than the stock coil.

So far I love the 8" coil on the Silver Umax. I have heard several times that you should only lose an inch to inch and a half from stock w/ the 5.75 on the Cibola. Maybe you have to turn up the sensitivity a bit to compensate for the smaller coil.

Hey Frednga, do you have the 5.75 concentric or the new 5.75 widescan???? I just rec'd the new widescan coil and it seems pretty good depthwise. I airtested some coins and it was getting a good 6" on most. It really does narrow down the location of the target!!!
