Civil Air Patrol Pin & Old Schoolhouse Finds

My son and I hunted at a couple sites last weekend one of which was a construction site. The schoolhouse was built around 1890’s. Was the original highschool in the town I grew up in. I think we got here too late as there was about 4+ inches of clay over most parts. The silver dimes and wheat pennies were all found on the "edges" where the construction had not hit it. One of the wheat pennies is a "better" date - 1932D. Found 15 wheat pennies. The little button like thing is a oil lamp part.
Also found a neat WWII Civil Air Patrol(1940s) pin. The CAP was the civilian volunteer branch of the air force. The pin was made by Robbins C. and is serling silver.
I included a picture of what it originally looked like.
