✅ SOLVED civil war bayonet ? ID help #2

Bayonet#2----Blade length is 18", has 4 points and barrel opening is about 3/4"-----overall length is 21 & 3/4"---any age and cleaning info would be great ---thanks --I bought this and another bayonet that i posted today, from a buddy that found them in his fathers garage.

Looks at if it could be an Austrian 1838 socket bayonet.

ETA: Here's a link that shows US made ones for the 1838 and 1842 muskets.

Thank you for the reply. Mine has 4 blades , that would leave an "x" when poked into something. The 1 you are showing looks like a flat 2 sided blade that would leave a " - " mark. Is that right, or am i missing something ? Thanks again
