On 5/4/25 a couple of friends and myself were detecting a CW site in Maury County TN. The area we focused on was a cavalry charge from early 1863. One of my friends dug this. It appears to be a CW bullet. Found just feet from other minis and has a nice patina. However, I have never seen markings of this type where the grooves would normally be located. I'm still waiting on weight and approximate diameter. The last photo is a side by side photo with a dropped .52 Sharps. As always any help is greatly appreciated.
