🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Civil war cane with kgc symbols, masonic badge and lots of highly detailed carvings. Has there ever been discussions of a cane map?

Interesting. Please show the Masonic badge. If you are referring to the G, shown in your other posting, I disagree. Also, welcome to the T Net forums.

The masonic badge is upside down and backwards. There are several symbols that match the symbols from documented maps.

I found this cane online and it has several of the same "hidden" symbols that my cane has. There is something to these canes. Your natural eye sees folk art but if you look further in depth, you see the real purpose of the carving.

I can’t enlarge the smaller portions of the latest photo. I still see no Masonic emblems. You are right, they are cool canes. Maybe post better photos of the esoteric designs on your cane.
I don’t doubt it is a special cane. I only question the Masonic idea. Thanks!

If you are referencing the “G” in the diamond, that is not Masonic.
It may be KGC or the initial of someone named Griffin or Garibaldi, but that is not a Masonic mark. I also don’t understand the upside down and backwards comment. Please show clear pictures with concise descriptions. I’d love to understand this better. Best wishes.

I don't have other pics of the masonic badge. I found a 19th century Spanish cane that sold in 2017. It has several of the same "hidden" symbols that my friends have

I'm sorry but don't have anymore photos. All I know is the compass is at the bottom and the square overlaps the compass. Which I believe to be upside down as well as backwards as far as the overlap. Thank you

Ok. I don’t see a square and compasses. I’ll agree to disagree.
Good luck!

In the previous photos, see the symbols in between the eyes. The half moon in 1 photo is made to look like the woman's hair

Ok. I’ll study it more. I see what you are looking at. I just get no Masonic connection. Still, a very ornate cane.

The cane is highly detailed. Do you see the inconsistency with the eyes? There are 3 total carvings of a naked woman, each time her eyes are different and 1 time her hair was the half moon. The snakes head appear to have Jesse James symbols. Another photo of the man and woman, notice the difference in how the eyes and nose are carved.

The cowboy riding the bull has letters and numbers burnt into the wood. It appears to be a strap around the bull but if you look at differently, it's a cross or diamond shape with letters n, s , e , w and Numbers
