Civil War Token Oliver Boutwell, Bridle Bit

Found my third ever Civil War token today: "Redeemed at my Office 1863, Oliver Boutwell, Miller, Troy, NY." Since it's brass it didn't fare well in the ground. Nonetheless, the farm is famous in local lore, having been settled by an Irish immigrant in 1860 who raised "fine horses for sale." I found all three there. Also a domed button and half a bit.

Cool old store card....brought back memories as I found one back in 82 and sent a pencil rubbing into Treasure Magazines Pony Express letters for identification...we had no Google or T net. Just had to dig the old mag out again.....remember when
