Found this Civil War token metal detecting in Allegan, Michigan yesterday.

Obverse "The Federal Union It Must Be Preserved 1863"
Reverse "Our Union"

You know, to this day I have never, even found a CW token. Also, on the sites we have, even coins are hard to get. That one came out of the ground in great condition!

This was my first. It was down 8-9" and the soil was dry. Even after all of the rain we've had this year the ground dry.

I was expecting a token to be the size of a quarter. Are all civil war tokens the size of a penny?

Not all CWTs are 19mm. Some are larger, but most are the size of a small cent.
