✅ SOLVED Civil War Token?

I found this, this evening. I don’t know what it is, other than cool. Anyone have any idea on what it might be, and how I might straighten it out? It’s about 1-1/4” square, bronze, and all I can make out is 61•U•C New Orleans April. Thanks for looking.

Thank you Don! History is why I dig, and now I like it even more. There were Civil War reunions here, in an old park, but this was across town, in a vacant lot that used to be a home. Perhaps this veteran traveled to New Orleans.
