Civil War tokens----lot of 5, crossed cannons, Army & Navy, our Army, ship, New York

given to me on consignment by my LCS to sell for 50/50 split of profit, his cost was 5 cents total. the ship is unknown, the anchor is not on the crossed swords Army & Navy--that appears to be a rare one, the NY appears rare, the Our Army has a star, also a hard one to find in my search, the crossed cannons appears to be common. all opinions welcome on these to the extent of rarity :dontknow: IMG_4559.webpIMG_4560.webpIMG_4561.webpIMG_4562.webpIMG_4563.webpIMG_4564.webpIMG_4565.webpIMG_4566.webpIMG_4569.webpIMG_4570.webp

current bid on the ship tag is $5. any thoughts on what age & type of vessel??

Except the Maine only had two stacks......

got a sense someone knows this ship___________5 shoppers are watching the item with 4 days left before the feeding frenzy

Except the Maine only had two stacks......

Depends on which USS Maine you're talking about. The one sunk in Havana had two, the replacement commissioned shortly after 1900 had three. Whoever produced this item may not have known there was a difference.

ship token sold today for $32, Liberty head New York token sold for $3.50
