Clad and a strange button

Digging in the park for a quick like 45 min hunt before nightfall and I came up with every coin except a half as well as a unusual looking button. Anyone know what it is?

I think it's a sleeve button off of a military jacket. Just a guess from the stars. Good luck!

Some1 in another post said so too. It looks like a rattlesnake button kinda but the ww2 looks like it as well. Anyone else here know their buttons?
