Clad count was down and that's ok

I got to my usual spot at around 10:30 a.m and got in my car a hair past 5 p.m. I found $2.91 in clad consisting of

• 6 quarters
• 11 dimes
  3 nickels
  15 memorials
  1 1953 canadian penny

I also found a few earrings, the small silver-looking one is actually 10k white gold (my first white gold).

nothin wrong with those finds! One has got to dig alot of targets to find the gold/silver. Something to do with the law of averages...............................

Thanks, Sherm. The white gold was on top of the sand. I spotted it out of the corner of my eye when I was coming back onto the beach. The sun hit it just right. HH Bill

Like you, I could hunt hours on the beach, not find a single coin or anything of value and still it would be a beautiful day on the beach! AND just add one babe to the mix, and suddenly that wrenched neck doesn't feel that bad!

anytime I can get out and detect is a good day for me. I think I found about $3 in the past week ( slim pickings this week). I did find an earring this evening though on the beach.
