Well I finally got out to detect a park here and picked up about 2 dollars in clad, pulled a quarter, dime, nickle, penny or 2, found 1 qtr. on top of ground and then 4 quarters in 1 hole!!
when I got the signal, it was beeping multiple .25c signals within an inch or so of each other, dug a plug and used my H.F. $18.00 pinpointer and pulled out my 1st qtr. then rechecked the hole and pulled out the 2nd, then the third and 4th. man it was almost like xmas. at this point had to get home and do the "honey do" dance. H.H. to all. Gunner.
Oh, sorry, no pics as I am just starting up this addiction.

What fun you had! Glad the quarters just kept on coming! My beach digging today was more tedious, but ended up with a few coins and met a friendly fellow detectorist from out of town. Somehow my current daydream of a golden emerald ring eluded both of us, lol. But we enjoyed watching a line of twenty brown pelicans cruising above the sea. Welcome to t-net and may the pocket spills continue! Andi

Nice going. :icon_thumright:
Even when they aren't old I love finding quarters. A few weeks ago I found 8 stacked together in one hole. I managed four quarters from different holes today but mostly I only pulled tabs. Found a spot in a park with tones of the old ones but but that's about it. I did get 5 tabs out of the same hole at 7-8 inches. I suppose that should count for something :tongue3:

thanx Andi and Ol'man for the replies, I'll always be lookin' for the spills, wishin' youall best of digging Jon.
