I posted about me attempting to surpass my Jan-Feb half dollar skunk streak, which was 50. I need to clarify the rules as I hit really good silver in halves yesterday. These were the result of a road trip and were not from me ordering my usual boxes. In light of that, I am only counting ordered boxes and not any found on road trips. The streak was at 9 and I went through 6 boxes tonight - - - Drum Roll please.........

Box 1 - Skunk
Box 2 - Skunk
Box 3 - Skunk
Box 4 - Skunk
Box 5 - Skunk
Box 6 - Skunk

This brings the total to 15. I will be ordering 20 boxes each week, so it will not take long to pass 50 if the boxes stay on par. I order from 4 different banks by the way, but as I have said in many posts - My entire area has the same boxes every bank I go to and a Lewis Systems armored truck with "Federal Reserve, Omaha Nebraska" printed on the door delivers them.

It makes me wonder about the posts from members adamantly denying banks get their coins from the fed and that couriers like Brinks, Garda or Loomis have to be the provider. Obviously many, if not most do, but around here the evidence points to all banks getting them from the Fed in Omaha.

I also did 12 boxes of dimes today and the results were much better than yesterday - 14 Rosies and 1 1947 Canadian. Yesterday I did 16 boxes and only got 8.

Omaha Nebraska - 2 hours from me

Kansas City is one of the 12 districts that has an extention in Omaha.

Apparently, they have an extention in Denver, CO also. I wonder if your results are similar to that of Chainchomp's. I remember Chainchomp saying that his boxes weren't good either a while back. I just wonder if any of the money from Omaha & Denver mix being through Kansas City district. At one of my banks, a teller commented on how there was a guy who used do 20 half dollar boxes a week but the teller was also under the impression that the sorting companies culled the coins. He was in Colorado.
