About a month ago I found a class ring in the tear out I have been digging. I found the owners name engraved on the inside. After locating and contacting him I was able to return it to him tonight! Great feeling and awesome to return such an heirloom piece after he lost it 40 years ago! In speaking with the owner he said he was playing football with some friends soon after graduation in the park I found it in. He says somehow he must have lost it then and shortly afterwards he left for the service not knowing exactly where he lost it.
