This is a clay cup I bought a few years ago in an auction box lot. I always thought it had a medieval look to it but could never figure out how to tell for sure. It's roughly 4.5" high and has heavily worn painted decorations in green, gold, and brown. The bottom has a painted floral design. Any ideas?
Maybe worth having a person who understands old pottery techniques and clay types have a look at it in person?
