Clay pipe stem? Texas Cabin New Years day find

Found what appears to be a stem from a clay pipe...looks to have broken off right where the bowl would begin...it does look a bit short though...would there be another part for where the mouth piece would be?
Any and all help appreciated, and as always, thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Clay pipe for sure. Would have had a wooden pipe stem, usually made from elderberry or some other small hollow centered plant.

Doesn't look any of the clay pipes I've seen. Looks like the spout from a small pot. Tony

Tony... I thought the same thing, so I did a little looking...

I don't see that you have what could be a "bowl" but who knows?
