Nice D, I have a few but not nearly that many. Most of mine are Colonial, I am sure you know the farther the bowl tilts forward the older.

Some of these may pre date the war as well. Some of the sites that they came from probably saw use prior to the start of the Civil War. It seems like once a good site for a camp was found it got used multiple times through the years. I have found Colonial era items and even Indian relics in CW camp sites.

Ill just comment , that I have never found a pipe piece, (that was not for Marijuana).

D, very nice collection you have there of the pipe bowls and stems. I too have never found either. Hopefully I'll come across one some day. Thanks for sharing.
