I just got back from the beach, and my new Garret Ace 250 is filthy.

I apologize if this is in the wrong section in advance.

Any suggestions how to clean my detector, what to, and not to use? Thanks

Jeff

Welcome to T-NET

try soap and water, but stay away from the control box :tongue3:

If you really want to clean that, I'd just use a damp cloth

P.S. It would be nice of you to give me a like too, this is the first and only time I gave good advice :laughing7:

Thanks for the advice. Taking it slow and trying to absorb as much as i can from this forum. Appreciate your reply.

I was only kidding about the like thing, but the rest is good  Just wipe it down with a damp cloth after use. Heck, at this point I don't even bother anymore.

By the way, use that coil cover they give you, it will protect the coil from damage

You have a fun and easy machine to use, so enjoy it, like I enjoy my little 250 too :laughing7:
