Cleaning the Ace 250/350

Hey guys,
I plan on ordering an Ace 250/350 this xmas. I was wondering, how do you guys clean them? Just a damp cloth? Is there any maintenance that needs to be done on these? I wasn't able to find any information on that aspect of detector ownership.

That's all that I have ever done to it and I have no problems.

If I hunt a tot lot or something similar, a quick wipe down with a dry rag is all that's needed. I'll pop the coil cover off and clean in there as well. Dirt loves to work is way in there. If I get the machine muddy or there is grass clippings on the coil, I'll hose the coil off and clean the lower shaft with Windex. Never get the control box fully wet and you'll be fine. If possible, get a control box cover as they keep the sensitive parts dry and clean. Well worth the cost. I think the 350 comes with one. There isn't any real maintenance you can do yourself. Just don't bang it around and keep it clean with good batteries and you're all set.
