Is anyone able to identify or date this? Clip of some sort? Also is the 3rd picture a pewter spoon /fork handle? Found in the same area as the clip. Thank you!
Oh yea those are identical, thank you!Hi Williamsce24,
I would believe pics 1 and 2 are Antique Men's Suspenders.

I'm just trying to get an approximate date in this nifty suspender clip. I'm thinking it's an egret fishing. Thanks~www.treasurenet.com

Thank you for the reply!Hello Williamsce,
Wow, my post is a blast from the past. I don't have that suspender buckle anymore for inspection. Some of those were used pre-Civl War and used up to the turn of the century, and it's almost impossible to tell the difference.

Hello- I have found many suspender clips from the early 1900’s and only a few clips like the ones you have. I believe they are dress pant waist clips, I believe the design hasn’t changed much but your are from the early 1900’s. Here is a pic with one of mine (circled in photo) I even found the part where it hooks. Is anyone able to identify or date this? Clip of some sort? Also is the 3rd picture a pewter spoon /fork handle? Another one I found said “fine tailoring” on it. All from a 1910 logging campView attachment 2130986
