I would take that any day over some of the finds that i see Hold on to that, it is one of the most unusual keys that i have seen!!! HH Chug

:icon_thumright: Very nice find. Warded barrel key for a warded cabinet or furniture lock. A warded lock could have been used to secure the clock cabinet but it is unlikely a warded key/lock would have been used for clock winding. The two mechanisms are different. MPO :icon_thumleft:

Not sure on age but its one of the nicest keys I have seen. I believe the 'fish' handle represents stylised Dolphins (very much in the Romanesque form) :headbang:

It would have been a ready fancy clock. :icon_thumright:
