Cluck Cluck in the yard this afternoon

Right after lunch today, my daughter yelled to me "Turkey in the yard". So I grabbed my camera, and tried to get some photos, here are two pics from the group I shot. This hen was clucking the whole time and kept looking towards the woods, I am assuming she was calling her young, which I never saw.

Seeing a Turkey is very common in South Jersey, but for seeing one in my yard is not, I believe this is only the 4th time we have seen one in the past year or so.

Awesome Don, to still be there when you finally get to your camera is the big challenge . I had a dozen in the yard last year, tried to zoom in on them and the pic came out blurry. I hope they show this year, 'cuz that canon will get them! Thanks!

Another success story , along with the Bald eagle,
they are doing great, but alas, Bobwhite quail, & many
others are on the decline, due to many factors, mostly
habitat loss. (good pic).
