I suspect it is an early to mid 20th C initial pin. Not related to any specific institution.

Thanks DCMatt...I will mark it as solved and I believe you are correct on the time from. It has the older plain CMR logo so maybe closer to early 20th c. which fits in the time frame of the current house and cent finds near by. I suspect the flag I posted is not too far from that time also.

Some additional info from the Silver Salon Forums:

[FONT=Verdana, Arial][FONT=Verdana, Arial]The same mark (conjoined letters CMR within a diamond shaped reserve, only without the "TRADE MARK" notation) is shown in the 1915 edition of the Jewelers' Circular Co. Trademarks of Jewelry and Kindred Trades as for the Charles M. Robbins Co.[/FONT][/FONT]
