I got an invite this past weekend to hunt an old home site down in Coastal Georgia. What a beautiful area of Georgia! We found several flat buttons and a few musket balls. Here are three of my best finds for the day. The 1851 Trime was the first really good find of the day for me. Up until now, that coin has eluded me but, I finally found one. Too bad it wasn't minted in New Orleans. The 1781 Spanish 1 Reale was next followed by the shoe buckle (missing the frame) It was a great day to be out and it was actually fairly warm which made the day even better.

Great finds!

Congratulations on a couple of great finds! The buckle is cool, too. Thanks for posting.
