This almost cube shaped size 11.78mm x 12.0mm has a shiny sheen silver-grey color over what looks to be a reddish host.
Any and all thoughts welcome to what it could be...Thanks in advance to all...

Desert Varnish, or if you prefer, Patina.

Clay, Dew, Manganese, Iron and Arid Environment all combine and work their magic over time to coat some stones various shades.

Might be a piece of weathered Arsenopyrite. Kinda small but you could try a scratch test and sniff the result. Arsenopyrite is said to put out a sulfur smell when struck and scratching is pretty much the same thing.
