When making my flask today found out we were out of sugar !. Being a resourceful type of guy I used honey instead, thought it would taste discusting but was very surprised it was good. In fact I think it gave me the energy to keep detecting in what were freezing conditions with a cutting wind and sleet storms. Finds were hard to come by, found a William and Mary farthing 1694 the coin on the left. And a Charles 11 Farthing 1672-79, both coins are badly worn. Also found a scale balance arm top of pic medieval/Roman.The other item I think is a lead styli used for writing with, not to sure of date 17Th century ?.
