Coil compatibility

I have a F5 and was wondering, do all the coils that work on the F70 and F75 work on the F5? I have seen someone use a Nel coil made for a F70 used on a F5 with no problems.

General coils made for the f70 and f75 won't work with the f5, the connection is different and the frequency, sometimes plays into the factor. The NEL coils are cheaper, comes with a coil cover and is better.

The F5 platform is specified to work with the Tek "Greek" (aka "Fratbros") searchcoils. Coils from the F70/75 serious are electrically different and may sorta or not sorta seem to work depending on the individual searchcoil and what the customer expects it to do.
