Coiltek coil

I'm using a 705 with a 6in coiltek digger 3 kHz. Pennies are coming up as quarters. What is causing this?

Best probability is saturated ground.
Could also be sensitivity set unnecessarily high, improper GB, or even swing speed too fast.

That coil does tend to ID a notch higher than normal on targets that are above about 28 anyway, but saturated ground in addition seems to amplify it.
