Tried to cash in halves today, but the machine wasn't playing along. Took $2 and stopped working entirely.
On the bright side, while my coins were being recovered I mentioned to the fellow that I collected, and he let me empty the internal reject bin into my bag. Total haul:
$6 in clad Ike dollars
$1.10 in dimes
$0.50 in quarters
$0.41 in pennies, including a wheatie
$0.05 in nickels
Three MBTA tokens ($1.25 each)
One '63 shilling
Five squish-machine pennies
One Pope John Paul II beatification charm
Nothing as exciting as silver or rare coins, but I did better today than with $560 in half searching.
