Found this today during my lunch hour at an early 1900's homesite.

It's thin and light, I believe its aluminum. Anyone recognize it? Or maybe its play money? Thx

I say play money. I can swear I've seen it before, but I can't find that same one.

Could be a trade token of some sort, since it has a denomination. Is it rusting? Aluminum doesn't rust, does it?

It had a yellow coating that flaked off. I've seen this on other aluminum tokens. There are some small areas of corrosion that you sometimes get with old buried aluminum. It reminds me a bit of an old aluminum 10 Groschen coin from Austria, but I think this one says "Ten Cents" on the reverse.
