I just went to the local market to cash in some clad and my dirty clad jammed the machine. When the manager pulled out the dirt catching tray he said I just cleaned that tray so this must be yours...uh. Ok sure. He hands me a 14k 2 gram st Christopher medal.

It's coin shaped so I'm calling it a gold coin hahaha. My first gold "coin"

SSSWWWEEEEEETTTT!!!!

LOL well it is close to a coin. However no denomination on it AND it is only 14K. Real gold American coins were 90% gold and 10% copper.

You have $ 49.45 of scrap gold but I would never scrap it. Sweet!

Well you are now protected against accidents when you travel! Nice catch. :occasion14:

I would donate that to charity, might due your karma some good.

I agree ....Let me suggest The DirtStalker fund for gas to travel to the Low Country to look for relics:laughing7:

Nah! That's a keeper. In Today's World, what part of charity would help the homeless or single mothers? $9.45 of the $49.45? That's probably wishful thinking....

Paranoia serves me well. I only give if there's no middle man. I remember the United Way corruption and scandals from the middle 90's.

Keep your family secure first, in this case.
