Looks like a 17th century British traders token, or a jeton. Don't recall seeing too many ships on the Brit. tokens but there's so many it's certainly possible. The top pic does resemble one.

Agree, looks like a 17th C Brass Farthing (Token)

What are the measurements? Can you get clearer macro pictutres, so I can ID all the letters?

Looks like a very close match - think you got it. Jetton was my 2nd guess, as its very small for these.
