What does Coinstar do with the coins when they are collected? Are they independently owned or what?

What does Coinstar do with the coins when they are collected? Are they independently owned or what?

They are processed by Brinks. Modern Marvels made an episode (Coin Op) that included a scene inside a Brinks facility.

Yeah they use brinks and that's the main reason I like brinks boxes. Some people who use coin star don't care about coins

It would be nice to get a bunch of those before they are processed or even after. Apparently they are picked up in barrels from the individual sites.

Yeah but not war nickels or buffaloes. Also find a good amount of wheats in the boxes as well.
