Digging some bottles and found this old coke top with a marble stuffed in the top! Question: Would you leave as is or break bottle piece to get marble out?

Personally, I would leave the marble in there, but I would definitely take a dremel and cut the jagged piece below the rim/lip off and make it all nice and smooth. Love the “top down” look of it for sure… I bet it would look pretty interesting if it was backlight from the bottom.🤔👍🏼

The marble might be part of the bottle. Marble bottle seals were a thing in the late 1800's/early 1900s. (You can even find the Japanese soda "Ramune" using the technique today). See this link:
