I have often thought detecting in Mexico could be outrageous! Keep us up to date. I would also think Indian artifacts should be plentiful too. Have you found any?

Than you for your comment, yes Mexico hace some good points for detecting, you are welcomed any time.
Indian artifacts are in several places, however, I never found any, but my friends.

You are right in certain way.
However, we visit safe places ( most of the time)
In almost 3 year detecting, TG, we have not any bad experience,

My father in law lived in Sinaloa near Mazatlán, He had his car and traveled all around with his wife... but they always said "go where you know it's safe and stay away from the back roads." We would see the Federales driving in their trucks on the highways with machine guns mounted on the back.
But man, would I ever want to wander the hills and fields!!!
