Colombia yesterday approved the law to recover underwater heritage

House passed but now I think it goes to senate?

Ya, I read the posts on SUBARCH. Awwwwwww poor archies! The purists are crying because they will be left out. The archaeologists willing to work with the private sector will be the winners.

Don't pop open your champagne just yet. The bill still has to pass the Columbian Senate. It whipped through the House 78 for, 11 against.

Thats pretty good odds Sighumops. Don't forget the greediest people on earth are politicians.

They may have the same situation there we have here... House one party majority, and Senate another party majority... stalemate. I don't know really, but I do have a project there on standby.

Good news for private sector salvage!
It's a long boat ride, I'm still waiting for Castro...
