Colonial button with Blue stone and a ?

Fist time I found a button with a stone in it, any idea what the stone is made off. Also found a bunch of colonial flat buttons and a couple worn Hibernias. The brass thing, looks like it may be the spout of a colonial powder flask or something.

It may not be a precious stone in your button, but it would be a priceless find to me. Cool as hell.
