Awesome relic and old coin shooting, congrats! :occasion14:

I'd be anxious to get back there after a hunt like that- Congrats and continued GL!

What a great bunch of finds - congrats !

You're on a good spot. Should be more coppers and maybe a Spanish silver.

Way to go on your first NJ copper. It is a 1787 Maris 6-D variety, a rather common one out of the 144 or so varieties. The Horsehead/Plow side is usually weakly struck but the reverse is easily ID'd by the die crack near the point at the bottom of the shield. I maintain a database of NJ ground founds, almost 1200 in the survey that I have been doing since 2004. I need the state and county found in to log it in the survey. Your 6D is the 46th of that variety reported found.... Thanks, you can PM me the State and County to keep it confidential if you wish.....

Nice! The one button with two holes in the back comes from the period of the French and Indian War. The anchor button is French navy, ca 1780.

Very Nice!!!!! Congrats!!!!!

Oh man. That looks like a good day of hunting. I love sites like that. :headbang:

Gotta sat the half cent and a copper I have yet to put in me bucket, Good job on a nice hunt I bet you cant wait to rip some more goodies outta there. Well done

What a great hunt! What's the button with the bars going across it? It looks very familiar but I can't place it.
