I'll put this on the What Is It? forum too, but wanted Bill D and some of the colonial gurus to take a look here. Another nice relic dug with my good friend NJLargeCent about a week ago. This was dug quite deep in a area that offered up other Colonial relics. It weighs in at 1.32 oz. or 37.4 grams. It's almost 1" in diameter at 127/128" or 24mm. It's 8.6mm thick. It has the cast design in the front which I don't recognize and there's a hole through it. Nice white patina too.

Thanks HMN, but it's got no place where the wires or other leads would have gone in. It's quite a bit chunkier than the other seals I've found, but you find a lot more Colonial stuff than I do--that's for sure :)

Man I wish I could help ya out there Eric, but that's a real head scratcher there.Boy it sure does got a thick coat of patina on it.cool looking what ever it is.good luck on it.
