Colonial Relic? Need help with relic ID

I found this relic in a field. Some original gilt has survived and it has a bit of weight to it, back appears to be lead filled. Any help would be appreciated.

No, not from my colonial road can't get back there yet, fell over a tree at a DIV hunt last March I knew I messed up my knee but I thought It would get better but it didn't, saw a Dr in the summer and found out I had torn my Acl, I wanted to wait until after the holidays for the surgery but knee gave out and torn my meniscus so surgery couldn't wait. Was signed up for a hunt in Va and went with my husband just to sit and watch him but I thought let me give it a try so with leg in brace off I went and still found more than him. LOL!
