Today I braved the ticks and brush and returned to my favorite dig site. Dug a beautiful 1794 liberty cap, 1827 coronet, 1952 silver dime 1969 qtr. 3 buckles, one may be horse tack, a flat button, happened to see an old medicine bottle in a hill, I dug around a found two more. and a few other nick knacks. Using the Cox 3030 low and slow.

That liberty cap has a lot of detail left on it. Great find. Congrats!

Wow! Congrats on some nice finds! That 1794 Large Cent appears to be in fairly nice condition. Please post more pics when you have it cleaned up a little bit and let us know what edge it has. I will try to determine which Variety it is.

I would be very excited if I dug that coin ! I am sure you know that only 11,056 of these were minted . Your coin is in fine shape and it looks like you did not clean it . Thats good ! Your looking at 4 figures for this coin . Should make the Banner as well ! A huge congradulations ! Woops I thought I was looking at a 93 Still a heck of a find MaineRelic

Nice finds ... You are darn smart not messing with the liberty cap . It is fine the way it is .

That 94 is incredible. As the other poster said, dont clean it. Thats gotta be banner just for condition and rarity. Its worth some money too.

In that condition that is certainly BANNER material ! you have my vote - Very nice find !!!!!

Its the common variety. .the 94 head...Great find ..in good condition. .

congrats great dig love the coin and buckles

That 1794 copper is in terrific shape. I would have gone with a more exciting title for your thread. A copper that old in that kind of condition deserves more notice. Congrats

Wow, great 1794, I'd be pretty excited!

I not very good with these titles. It's actually the third one I dug at this site as well as about 25 other large coppers and silver reales. Going back again in the am..last time for the summer. Even with deep woods off, the ticks are just awfull. Thank you for all the great comments. Helps feed my addiction. Lol

Fantastic find! You have my vote.
