Well, just got back from Colorado after 5 days of fun. Sorry it took so long to post but had to not only go back to work the next day but also had to sort over 600 pics. LOL

We first stopped off at Lindsborg, Kansas AKA Little Sweden. S3010528 Resized.JPG

We got to check out a # of shops and looked at all the Dala horses set up around town. The one pictured is the Dancing Dala. You can read about the history of them on the following link. http://www.mike-sheryl.com/travel/wild-dalas/ S3010527.jpg

There were a few plaques on the bldgs, such as the following. S3010529 Resized.JPG

I wished we had time to hunt the area but we had to get on the road after a great midmorning meal of Swedish pancakes with fresh butter, powdered sugar, and lingonberry jam. Yummy!

We ran across some really old buildings along the way but it turns out they were all moved from another site and placed there as an attraction at one time. Kind of a Frontier City of sorts.

After Burdie's adventure, the question is: who took the pics and who drove? AND, who had possession of the map? LOL

Great pics!
