I haven't posted much lately but I had some free time today so I figured what the heck. I also haven't been able to hunt much lately but that doesn't stop me from at least shopping around for relics. :icon_scratch: I got this piece in the mail this week. Made from heat treated Crescent Chert this Dickson measures 5 1/16" long and is from Madison County, Illinois. It's an ex-Payne piece as well. It has been heavily resharpened and bevelled which is pretty common in Dickson points. I hope to be back hunting by late May.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen some bigger but this one definitely has some great color.

Nicest drill/point, I've seen for a long time. Nice lithics.
I would be proud to own that.
