52 degrees here as I type, got the urge bad! If this keeps up and rain stays away i am for sure out this afternoon. Don't know if the digger will poke thru the topsoil tho, alot of moisture may break down the frost.

Amen brother!! As I type this I'm watching the snow melt. I've readied the detector and shovel. I've called my hunting partner. If this snow goes down - we're hittin the woods!!

I know of a good spot in a dense wooded area with lots and lots of dead leaves - that place almost never freezes.
